Advantage Mental Health Center really cares about patients. From the time someone answer the phone throughout your appointment you are treated with courtesy, respect and professionalism. They have private waiting rooms with an HDTV, mini-fridge and snacks. The receptionist even served me tea on a tray. I have been to many psychiatric clinics, most seem in a rush to get you in and out like a cattle call. Not here. They take their time and make you feel comfortable. Dr. Rizzo put me at ease and made me feel very comfortable. After 10 years of trying various doctors, she finally got my diagnosis right. Stopped six of my medications and prescribed something that really worked! She really knows what she is doing. Wish I had found them ten years ago. They don’t take insurance for appointments but got my prescription pre-approved through my insurance company and filled out a form so my insurance company would cover most of the cost of my appointments. This is the first mental health clinic I have been to where I felt they really cared more about getting me better rather than collecting money and throwing more drugs at me. I would recommend them to anyone who needs help.
